Potential pitfalls and distractions include my computer, DVDs, reading, listening to music, and cable tv (a new and frighteningly entertaining luxury). Basically, my dorm room. I think I'm gonna try to stick to a policy where "the dorm room is a place to relax and have fun" and do my work elsewhere (libaries and academic buildings away from the dorms), and treat each day of classes as a block of work.
For anybody interested, I'm posting my schedule. If you care, feel free to comment upon it, sympathize, or even make fun of it. I don't really care.

Every day starts at 8:30 with Calculus. In a nutshell, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday are pretty average days. Tuesday is a nice, easy day. Thursday makes me cringe. At one point, I wanted to change my schedule to avoid taking physics and chemistry in the same semester. Two ENAD visits and an hours wait later, I found out that I'm in catch-up n00b physics. *Must erase Patterson's teachings* That means I'll take Calc II, regular Physics, and next level Chem next semester, and sometime later (possibly in the summer) take my 2 required English and Computer classes. Besides, it's only 15 credit hours. Time to sit down, settle in, and get ready to work. Let's do it.
