If I don't get athletic tickets soon, there's no telling what they'll do to me.

I had trouble getting out of bed this morning because I'm so sore. A sudden burst of activity starting last Saturday has finally caught up with me. Seven flights of stairs up and down to my room at least five times a day (usually racing Jason, who rides the elevator), plus ultimate frisbee, wallyball, and walking miles across the campus. I'm even trying to limit my Advil use because pretty much anything makes my back hurt. Gotta keep working, though, and remember to stretch. Today is my day off, but I'm gonna go to the CoRec tomorrow and do something.....perhaps Jason wants to work out, or perhaps I'll go swimming.

Classes start Monday. Let me just tell you how much I'm looking forward to that. Especially chemistry and physics. I wish I had a few more days to get used to Purdue. At any rate, it's what I'm here for, so when I get going to classes, I should be in my element and stop having to worry about stupid Frat parties (Friday night). It shouldn't be too bad- none of my classes start earlier than 8:30.

I watched four and a half hours of The History Channel the other day before I even realized how much time had passed. Jason and I are watching the Olympics right now. It's weird watching TV outside your home......I still don't pay attention to news or weather outside Cincinnati.

I noticed two things about the average Purdue student here:
1. Suprisingly, most random strangers are nice. Perfect example: two people on another floor held all the doors, got the elevator, and even offered to help take my computer to my room a few days ago when they saw me pushing the cart full of boxes.
2. Every person on this damn campus has a cellphone but me. I swear. Everybody I've met has one, and they all complain that they can't get ahold of me. Like I want to be chained down, woken up, bothered, and have to pay for and worry about maintaining and charging a little phone. Thank goodness Jason forwards all my calls.

Today also marks my first week anniversary of living at Purdue. It's also Saturday. Perhaps a small celebration is in order?
