Thanks for your numerous comments of support, but I honestly don't hate those people. They're all good kids. I mean, c'mon- they picked Purdue, right? They're engineers, right? Good enough for me. Besides, once we get to college, nobody knows St. Xavier from Amelia. Nobody will know that nobody at the picnic took as many APs as I did (a big shock for me). It's just that sometimes, a few snotty rich private school kids get to me, and I'm trying not to generalize. Yay if your family can afford a nice school. I think that what comes out of school is mostly a function of what goes in (subtle jab at crappy parents).
Also, in response to a few people's sentiments that a blog shouldn't be a list of daily activities....I agree and I don't. For one, a blog is a blog, and the blogger can blog whatever he or she wants. But for me, I usually end up posting about my thoughts or ideas (what I usually try for) through descriptions about my activities, like I'm telling a story.
My freakin' computer will NOT burn my cds, and it's making me very angry.
For those of you who have seen the old 80's sci-fi movie Alien (and maybe if you haven't), you might find this as hilarious as I did.
Acquired the Wayne's World 1 & 2 Epic on DVD, finally, as well as this oddball "Guitar Tribute to Queen" cd that I just had to get.
Like I told Dan, here's the outline for my new plan for dealing with the ladies:
AKindOfMagic14: ok
AKindOfMagic14: my view is
AKindOfMagic14: be as attractive as I can while earning my degree and having fun
AKindOfMagic14: any girl that shows interest will be flirted with accordingly
By the way. College equals stress right now. I have a hundred things to get, two hundred things to pack, books to order, and a bunch of other things. I guess I'll just have to take it one step at a time. Like the alcoholics.

A blog is journal/diary. It's just all done electronically and not with paper and pen. You can go about your business.

ReplyDeleteAndy- this entry was a shot at several folks who expressed similar thoughts.
ReplyDeleteJackie- please don't ever, ever, ever tell me that. It's hard enough to convince myself that it's not true.
