Yeah, somebody saw my perfect woman. She was riding a unicorn too!

It would appear that I have some "business" to attend to before leaving Cincinnati for West Lafayette.

-Get my computer, and a hundred other dorm items

-I still need to visit the great kitchen staff at the Mt. Washington Care center and write a few personal letters to some close friends

-...and I also need to visit a certain family who have been unceasingly and unconditionally nice to me no matter what happens, and who I feel compelled to at least stop by and say hi to, but whose name I don't feel like releasing

Speaking of people....
Jackie, my old Glen Este pal IMed me the other day and we had a few moments to catch up. She left me *sniff* to go to school in St. Louis, but might be stopping in to say hi soon.

Ronnie, another old Glen Este pal of mine spent the evening with me, Erica, and Mark seeing NASCAR presented by OMNIMAX. Which, by the way, apparently no longer does the "speaking speakers" segment, or the light-tunnel time warp. :( We then stopped for dinner at an Irish resturant at Newport on the Levee and hung out at his house to chat for a while. His strategy for the ladies includes getting his engineering degree, earning a bunch of money, and then bagging a trophy wife.

I think I'll spend the last of my money seeing The Villiage and AVP with my pals. Meanwhile, I'll watch the movies we rented from Blockbuster.

  1. Hey i was wondering, whats it like knowing that your going to be living in a dorm room? Is it on campus? In Australia there are no dorm rooms or on campus living. Is it like all the americanized television shows where the rooms are really small and you have to share with a room mate?

  2. We're lucky that many of the students after freshmen year find apartments.

For that computer Ryan, whenever you're ready be sure to CALL me because for (what I'm guessing, the rest of the summer lol) will be grinding professions in Star Wars Galaxies so I can get a Jedi character so my computer accessibility will be limited (my AFK macro requires to have SWG as the top window).

  3. Yes, my dorms are on campus. My particular dorm is in a massive dorm building, McCutcheon Hall. I'm on the sixth floor. Purdue is styled so that two students share a small rooms, usually with bunk beds, and there's a large bathroom on each floor. I'm excited for the change of pace, and the space transition won't be too difficult for me, since I'm an organized person. I don't watch too much tv to tell you about the stereotypes, though (no cable).
