Today I threw out pay stubs from my job at Hillenbrand Hall as Student Office Staff (read: desk peon) since August 2005. Purdue's switched to a paperless payroll system, but it doesn't really matter since I've quit my job (ending this summer) there to focus more on academics. Just in case, I decided to flip through them (about 70 bi-weekly stubs) and found that I'd stashed my Social Security card in there, along with a some sweet scratch. I almost threw that in the garbage!
Paranoia: check.
