Current Mood: impatient
Current Music: "(You Can Still) Rock In America" by Night Ranger
Not much of an update, I know, but I'm leaving Purdue tonight on the Amtrak for Cincy. Spring break (for me) starts after work tonight and all through next week. I'm not thrilled with the prospect of staying here for a day or so to work, or to walk with my bags all the way to the station, or to ride that train again.
I am however, thrilled to be going home. I want to relax for a few days.
What will I do over break? Not aero homework. Probably just eat, sleep, and play video games/watch movies.
I also found out yesterday I was accepted for the Operations Assistant (OA) position at Hillenbrand Hall for the summer conference program at Purdue. What does this mean? Basically I will live, work, eat, and continue to take classes here at Purdue over the summer. I still have no car (for the time being), but at least I'm not going back to Mt. Washington Care Center. I don't think I could work there another summer.

Spring break? Don't college kids do something crazy during spring break like go to cancun and get wasted? We're just starting our semester here.

ReplyDeleteA Space Camp song. Stupid, but I figured I'd share anyway.
Miss ya. :)
Space Camp songs are never stupid. I miss you too, Jenny.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I'll be here over the summer as a murse so now you know two people with cars.
I miss you too, Benji. :)
ReplyDeleteDude I've totally got my blog back up and running. I felt the need to do something else for a change and I figure I'd go back to blogging, whether it's a retarded, one-line post with a picture or a 10 page long post regarding how life can suck and how I'd rather be dead. Hopefully not so much the latter part as one person can only read depressing material enough without wanting to kill themselves. The blog is still http://swgalaxy.blogspot.com for all of those [reading] at home.
ReplyDeleteGive me a holla if you want to do anything while you're home. If not, no big deal. Spring Break's too damn short to actually be able to settle down and enjoy it, but I think I can make it. As long as there's not class or homework, that makes me a happy camper.
PEACE OUT
Most college students do crazy shit like that, Allister. I do things like sleep. Because I'm broke.
ReplyDeleteReal college students get excited about two things: free food and sleeping.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I know I've said it before, but college towns over the summer = paradise. If you define paradise as living in a town more or less abandoned and having to wait in line for NOTHING.
How else would you define it, really?
Ry!
ReplyDeleteSorry last night I accidently left my AIM up when I went to bed. I thought I signed off :-/ but I really want to talk to you about everything.. cause I know you know how it goes.
I'll catch ya next time you get on.
