Back to the city of blenditude

Current Mood: weary
Current Music: "Tetris" theme, stuck in my head for some reason

Chem test done. Worked my arse off on Sunday for 8 hours so the bulk of my physics is done for the week. English teacher decided, miraculously, to be awesome and told us "don't worry about writing a paper before break...we'll deal with that later." I've got a chem report, a lengthy chemistry homework assignment, early physics lab Thursday, Tuesday night calc study session, plus the dreaded calculus midterm on Wednesday night.

I forgot to mention the great laundry stretch. I haven't trekked down to the dungeon/basement of McCutcheon to do battle with the laundry machines in more than two weeks, and in a desperate gambit/bout of laziness I decided to pull the college student card. And by that I mean I'm stretching my laundry all the way to Friday so that I can lug it 200 miles for a free load of laundry. How efficient.

Got my housing contract today...I'm living in Hillenbrand Hall (the swank upperclassman dorm) next semester. Screw all of you and your cheap living arrangements. As long as I'm boned over paying out of state tuition, I might as well enjoy one year of nice housing before my finances force me into more "economical" housing, like an apartment or a cardboard box behind the chemistry building. Air conditioning, a dining hall on the first floor, marginally closer to campus, a nice study lounge...I can see it now:

Third semester Freshman Engineer livin' large at the Hill.

  1. You're not the only one trying to pull a great laundry stretch. In my case I'm heading home Thursday instead of Friday, but my trip is 300 miles. I guess that all balances out.

Yeah, I don't like going to the laundromat.

  2. Hiya,
Out of curiosity what were a few of the questions asked in the chemistry exam? Always intrested in the standard set elsewhere.
