Today just plain sucked. I managed to survive Mortal Kombat Kalkulus (Josh and I have decided that our TA is Liu Kang) and do decent on the quiz over trigonometry substitution derivatives. I have to admit that this calculus stuff is getting really really tricky. The homework starts to hurt after the first hour. I blew off physics lecture to go to McDonald's for breakfast...only to once again miss the freaking breakfast/lunch switch by two spots in line. That pisses me off so much, and I don't even know why.
I worked on physics and chemistry projects for four hours after that, in time to get to my chemistry lab at 2:50. Connor didn't show up, and therefore neither did our lab report. He emailed it to us 2 hours after the lab started and our TA is giving us half credit. There's about 15 labs this semester, and they drop the lowest grade at the end so there is a shred of hope...but so help me god if he does that again I'm going to actually do the stoichiometry and measure the chemicals to make a concentrated 5 or 6 molar solution of acid and disfigure his face. I wouldn't normally be so upset, except for that he repeatedly told us he would finish it and I defended him, giving him the benefit of the doubt, even when the rest of my group wanted to finish without him and leave his name off of the report. Way to go, asshat.
Allison (chem TA) also has no freaking clue how to run a lab.
Computer's on the fritz.
My roomate is trying to transfer to Northwestern, which might mean I get stuck with a crappy room with a strange person next year.
*snarl* This is not how things are supposed to be going!
I finally got done with everything around six. I'm in the clear 'till Monday when the next wave of stuff is due. I'm leaving for home at 2:30 tomorrow and hopefully I'll get lots done. I miss home.
Tentative checklist for the weekend:
fill out FAFSA
watch Superbowl (note: pick team to root for)
get a haircut
exchange cellphone (note: new phone needs to call from Cincy to Purdue)
hit dad up for some money
eat lots of fast food, especially Gold Star
study for chemistry exam
do physics homework
write film review paper for english
borrow Bradley's CDs
