Talk about the man of the hour. Alex, my main man in the engineering program, was helping me out with the programming of this last engineering project (to which I am very thankful), and got stuck on one part. Guess who helped him out and solved the problem? I really miss having Alex as my engineering partner because we make such an awesome team. Regardless, as soon as I turn in this last engineering project Thursday afternoon...I'll be completely finished with engineering for this semester.
Speaking of done for the semester, Thursday's chem lab is also the last lab for this semester. Even better, it's not a real lab...we just check the equipment drawers and clean the chem lab. Plus, I got a perfect (20/20) lab report back, which means I have to find a frame or something. Take that, resonance structures and Lewis dot diagrams.
It's going to be a long eight days from now until I get to leave for home for Christmas break.
Purdue sports news:
*Purdue is going to the Sun Bowl! This will be the eighth bowl game in eight years under coach Joe Tiller. The Vitalis Sun Bowl is scheduled for December 31st, 2004 at 2pm in El Paso, Texas. Broadcast on CBS, Purdue (Big-Ten) will play Arizona State (Pac-10). Both teams will receive a minimum of 1.5 million dollars as payout. Even better, Junior linebacker Bobby Iwuchukwu is expected to return to play for this bowl game after injuring his knee against Northwestern (Oct. 30th). Bobby has made 40 tackles (four for a loss, half a sack) in eight games, and a ridiculous six blocked kicks (5 field goals and 1 extra point). Bobby- you're the man. Get back on the field and block s'more.
One last time- BOILER UP!
*The women's volleyball team made it to the NCAA tournament, the first time in over a decade. They beat No. 9 Colorado, but lost to undefeated No. 3 Hawaii. I only mention the women's volleyball team because they're really incredible athletes, and (let's face it) - they're hot. w00t!
*Purdue basketball sucks. Apparently, head coach Gene Keady is retiring this year after 25 years...but we're 1-5 or something like that, and it's the worst start we've had since 1907. This is probably the last thing I'll ever say about Purdue basketball, because I just don't care. I already learned to love football, so cut me some slack.

I can't get passed this. You seem like you've got your head firmly stuck on your body. Your obviously a smart guy going to a top school. You get great if not perfect marks. How are you worried about your grades so much? Wouldn't you have the benefit to just say, 'yeah i know i'm going to be fine.'
