That engineering exam was definitely one of the hardest tests I've ever taken in my life. Wicked, plain and simple. I think I did ok, but we'll have to see a lot later since it was a written exam. I'm still not used to the majority of the class getting a %60 or %70 percent. This one is %15 of our grade, and there's only one other. Oy. Tomorrow is my physics exam, but I think I'm going to do a lot better on that one (muddling through Patterson's AP "class" for a while actually did teach me a few things...most importantly- "look for time in the y direction"...a when-in-doubt phrase like "convert to moles" for chemistry.)
I was definitely freaking out this morning, though. IMing all my upperclassmen friends, trying to calm down. Andy tells me that the shift to college means not "getting %100" but "beating the rest of the class". Danius tells me "if you weren't meant to be where you are, you'd be a Liberal Arts major by now". I felt a little better after that.
Oh...and I definitely went with Sarah to get her nose pierced today because she didn't want to go alone. "Amused" was the name of the seedy, underground, incense smelling lair of piercings and new-age bands. I only went because she's my friend...otherwise, you wouldn't catch me near that store.
I'm off to study for my exams. Mom, Brad, and maybe Dad are coming to visit Friday!
