I've officially been here one month, for the record. I'm kinda nervous about my first exam tomorrow night, but it's on calculus, and I've not had much trouble in that class so far. I don't want to stress out and spend hours studying if it's not that bad, but I don't want to get owned. I need to get this over with to gauge my other exams. I also have a really pain-in-the ass Engineering project to finish. Gotta keep on working, though.
What am I going to do this weekend? There's no football game...I guess I'll have to go see George Carlin perform at Elliot Hall of Music! *excited*
Oh, I think I'll leave you with this- part of a little conversation I had with Anthony, an old friend of mine from middle school that I never see anymore.
OSUTeam: it's funny to see you still interested in space and stuff b/c when we were little i thought it would go away
...
OSUTeam: Boilermaker, eh?
AKindOfMagic14: absolutely
OSUTeam: tsk tsk, you'd be better off as a Buckeye
AKindOfMagic14: and how is their aero program?
AKindOfMagic14: how many Buckeye astronauts are there?
AKindOfMagic14: lol
AKindOfMagic14: it's a great school, no doubt
AKindOfMagic14: but Purdue is an astronaut factory
heh...he thought it would go away

I think that conversation needs its own set of definitions. What is a boilermaker or a Buckeye?
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your exam.
Boilermaker = Purdue University student
ReplyDeleteBuckeye= Ohio State student
