I can't fucking believe it.

For some reason, some shotgun toting freak held up the bus service today to West Clermont, and so we had a snow day. In May.

The telephone woke me up at 5:45 this morning, and I ignored it. I'm not dealing with anything outside my bedroom door 'till 6. I get in the shower, and when I get out, mom tells me there's been an accident or something, and school is cancelled. She also wanted to know if I knew a T J Conway. Turns out caller ID picked up Conway's message that, despite the entire rest of the district being closed, the AP test goes on. Good 'ol AP English.

So I drag myself to Amelia. The side entrance is closed. Every damn car I pass tells me to go home. Every teacher, janitor, administrator, and random passer-by tells me to go home. I grumble something about AP English test and they all give me the "you poor bastard" look. At this point, my karma is waaaaay in the red zone. Conway finally shows up, and she brought breakfast. Yay! Bagels. Yuck.

We finally start just after 8, and Dr. Liebold is our proctor. I hate that man. I really do. I don't know how he became a doctor. We did the multiple choice, and that wasn't too bad, except Melinda was late.

The essay section, however, was total shit. That's just the best way to put it. The AP classes quietly study all year in relative seclusion and silence all year. All we ask is one day a year for peace and quiet for our 4 hour test. Well, even with the whole student body gone, they still managed to fuck it up. First, the janitors starting walking around on the roof. WTF?? Then, Dr. Liebold LEAVES and gets another proctor. This guy comes in, talks OUT LOUD to Liebold for a few minutes, then sits down to read the newspaper. Shuffles it a few times loudly. Then his fucking CELL PHONE goes off. HE ANSWERS IT. WTF?? If we were to pull any of this shit, we'd be disqualified so fast it'd make your head spin. THEN he messed up the timing on the essays. We were cut short at least 5 minutes, I swear to god. Dumbass.

How did I do? Since I'm not allowed to talk about specifics, I'll tell you vaguely. I totally pwned the multiple choice (especially the first selection) and I only left 2 blank. The essays were harder, with the first (poetry) being (suprisingly) the best, the prose (which I normally pwn) sucked ass, and I wrote about Gatsby on the book piece. I'm hoping for a 4, but a 3 will do just nicely.

LaRosa's afterward, followed by pool @ Chris Martin's.
