GSC Update:
* November 8th, around 8:00 am here in Southern Ohio, is the date for the second total eclipse of the moon this year (the other was in May). A total eclipse happens when a full moon passes directly into Earth's shadow (called the umbra).
Interesting fact- with no atmosphere to hold in heat, the blockage of the sun causes almost a 230 degree (Celsius) drop in temperature in less than 90 minutes on the moon during a total eclipse.
