7. I totally own up to my expensive sunglasses (the aviators) because they rock ass.
Technically, I pay somebody to clean my bathroom and cook my meals, but that's part of my residence hall contract, as is my "gym membership", my "yard", a pool table and tennis court, and access to a pool. I never go shopping, and I'm thousands upon thousands in debt because of school. I have no assets, no car, no financial security. I also don't travel...this is the farthest West I've been.

Those ARE some kick ass aviators!
ReplyDeleteI counted the stuff that I get thanks to my contract with the lodge. i think those things you get because you pay for residence/tuition count towards spoilage. even if just for however many years you're going to be here.
ReplyDeleteI disagree. I'm paying for my entire college experience, and I share most of these things with 30,000 undergrad students, if not the entire Purdue community. I think it's less luxury and more standard residence hall experience...I don't consider it being spoiled.
ReplyDeleteIt's like a "free continental breakfast". It's not free. You're paying for the room, so they throw you some bagel action.
Even if I counted them...that'd take me up to, like...14.
Dang it! Now I have "Sunglass Envy"! Or would that be "Sunglasses Envy"...?
