Yet again, procrastination has proven to be the victor.
Let me explain.
All of Spring Break, I didn't do much. Honestly, I did about two hours of real, solid work- and most of that was my SEAP. Then, as Sunday night rolled around, I realized how much stuff I'd actually put off, and I couldn't get it done. Doomed, I went to bed with only slightly more finished (this time I was actually resigned to my fate instead of staying up ALL night with NO sleep and getting it done).
I woke up at midnight, and emptied my stomach.
20 minutes later
1 hour later
30 minutes later...........
and half a dozen times after that. I was one sick dog. Not to mention that my back was killing me. I ran up a huge fever and layed around like a slug.
So I missed Monday and Tuesday at school.
Plus I messed up my perfect attendance.
I'm feeling much better now. Especially since I learned that the SEAP project I worked on WHILE I WAS SICK to finish by Wednesday has been pushed back to Monday.
Plus,
I got a haircut. The RLHE (Rediculously Long Hair Experiment) is finally over. Normally I get my hair (the hair that grows really fast and is curly unless I get it cut short enough) cut every 2 months, on average. My last haircut was last year (pre-surgery). 4.5 months this time. I really was only holding out because my little brother and I were holding a contest to see who could hold out longer (both of us hate the longer hair). Unfortunately, he has naturally straight hair, and it didn't bother him so much. Finally, desperate to have her kids drop the "Chewbacca's cousin" look, she offered me $5 to get my hair cut. Screw brotherly bragging rights and principles. I'm a pragmatic man.
