ok, got up, went to school, read my english paper, learned Riemann summations, went to study hall [side note- Conway so saw me and David listening to Queen on my headphones in study hall (a big no-no) and so ignored it.........that's called AP immunity, folks], left school
went to give blood.............to my future self
I thought I was gonna pass out, but instead, the Hoxworth people were *rediculously* and *gratituously* nice............ate cookies, drank orange juice.........sat and listened to my headphones. I guess all those iron pills really did help (they checked the levels......turns out I'm almost good to give tomorrow, but thank god it's next Wed). My blood pressure is 118/82.......almost exactly average- w00t! Only took about 10 minutes, but my arm STILL hurts and you have no clue how numb it is and how wierd/hard it is to type.
Lately, I've had to miss a lot of flight lessons b/c of the shitty winter weather and winds, not to mention school and now, blood giving (turns out the FAA stipulates that no blood donor can fly within, get this, 72 hours). So it'll prolly work out that I won't get my liscence before the end of the year or before my surgery (what??? almost 3 months with no flying??). Shit.
