HOLY COW............the first post from teh new UberDesktop has been officially started!

AOL Broadband = w00t

I'm sitting here, all by myself. Nobody else is up yet. The only sound is not the noisy hard drive, no, it's the uninterrupted AOL radio playing over the new speakers (yeah- that's right- I'm listening to the radio- on the computer- while I'm surfing). The Christmas tree is glowing softly in my periphreal vision. I've already figured out how to work the AOL suppression for popups, and it works. The new keyboard, new mouse, everything. The screen is huge, it's gorgeous. The tower even has this cool little panel that slides away to hide the USB/floppy ports............w00t.

A hearty w00t goes out to my friend David for helping me
A. Research all the optimum specs and prices
B. Go out to Best Buy and choose it all
C. Wait while they installed the l33t video card
D. Help me carry and load the fruggin' thing
and perhaps most importantly
E. Helped me install and set it all up

To top it all off, we can FINALLY recieve/send telephone calls while somebody's online, we can have AWAY MESSAGES- you'd all best take note of that one- I'll be sure to be using them frequently and I'm gonna try to keep 'em fresh and interesting.

BTW David, I finally remembered my AOL password- w00t

As if yesterday wasn't awesome enough, I got to go see Lord of the Rings: Return of the King AGAIN with JJ, which was his Christmas gift (to him from me).

I'm gonna go surf and download and do some stuff online. Whatever I decide- I'll be fast.
