Ok. Before I even got to my first day of school I was terrified of Ms. Conway because of what I'd heard of her. Rumors really do have a strong impression, I suppose. I'd heard that she was a vicious man hater feminist that flunked all men except Andy Fedus. However, now that I've survived the first few weeks, I can safely say, she's not that bad. Mind you, she's still got some really scary modes of operation. Also, she's a really demanding teacher that expects the best of every student who dares presume to be AP material. In the end, however, she's managable. She's a human being, like all others, susseptable to the ol' Garwood wit and humor. By this, I mean to point out that although the first week I was too nervous and too shy to say almost anything, now I've reached a critical point in her class. I got smacked. I've passed that uncomforable barrier in which I was petrified, and now I can freely make jokes and be sarcastic. Sure, I'll get smacked, but that's to be expected. I suppose, in retro(spect) that that's how I deal with English teachers (:::flashback to Senter, Zodda, all my other english teachers:::)
