Brandon and I had an interesting conversation today. I received an Instant Message from somebody last night, and the first thing she typed would've been the first thing she said to me (if she followed the same format she's been following since I've known her). This led me to think about IMs from anybody I know, and how when I read them, certain words I recognize as trademarks of each person's speech or dialect. It's almost as if they don't register as words- all I can do is "hear" that person "say" that word as they would face to face, in my head. Something to think about...........I wonder if there's certain things I type (not even just on IM, maybe on the blog itself) that people read and think of how I say it.
